In the saltwater aquarium, the All-In-One trace element mix supplies reef dwellers such as coral fish, coral polyps, algae and lower animals with the most important nutrients. It also supports growth, polyp appearance, color intensity and vitality. Additional vitamins and amino acids strengthen the immune system and ensure the optimal absorption of trace elements in the organism.
All-In-One is a perfectly balanced nutrient mixture of six MICROBE-LIFT® special products for the care of reef aquariums: Calcium, Iodide & Bromide, Iron FE, Strontium, Vitaminos and Elements. (Link to the products in each case) If the other important parameters such as water quality and lighting are correct, the composition of All-In-One is generally suitable for every saltwater aquarium, reef aquarium or nano aquarium and significantly reduces the effort required for aquarium care.
Why add trace elements to the saltwater aquarium?
More than 70 micro and macro nutrients occur in natural sea water. These trace elements or bulk elements are inorganic nutrients that the organisms in the saltwater aquarium cannot produce themselves. However, many of them are essential (vital) for the growth of coral fish, coral polyps, soft corals, stony corals, algae and lower animals. Others have at least a positive influence on health, growth and vitality. For example, iodine and bromine improve the appearance of polyps and coral color and prevent goiter formation in aquarium fish. Molybdenum supports the metabolism and in particular the tissue formation of corals, algae and lower animals. The combination of trace elements with vitamins and amino acids in MICROBE-LIFT® All-In-One strengthens the immune system of the organisms and ensures improved absorption of micro and macro nutrients. Various reasons lead to the proportion of trace elements in a reef aquarium constantly decreasing. On the one hand, the organisms absorb the nutrients dissolved in the salt water. On the other hand, oxidation and precipitation (crystallization) reduce the content of micro and macro nutrients in the saltwater aquarium. If the nutrient content is less than 1 mg/liter of seawater, we usually speak of trace elements or micronutrients; if it is higher than 1 mg/liter of seawater, we speak of bulk elements or macronutrients. The trace elements are dissolved in such small quantities in the aquarium water that they cannot be detected using the usual tests. In general, two basic rules apply:
- Before adding MICROBE-LIFT® All-In-One and other products containing trace elements, it must be ensured that the water quality and lighting situation are correct.
- A lot doesn't always help a lot! Please always follow the dosage recommendations. If dosed correctly, trace elements are necessary and helpful in saltwater aquariums; if overdosed, they can have a toxic effect.

Here are the instructions for unpacking and acclimating Berghia snails:
- Berghia snails are specialized feeders that only eat Aiptasia sp. It is important to always have enough Aiptasia for them or to pass them on in a timely manner.
- They are less suitable for larger aquariums with many fish, but if necessary they can be placed in the evening with the lights turned off using the transfer pipette.
- Direct contact between snails and Aiptasia should be avoided as this can lead to the death of the snails. The snails must make contact with the Aiptasia themselves.
- Berghia snails are ideal for controlling Aiptasia in small aquariums with peaceful fish or in separate "treatment aquariums".
- The snails delivered are not yet fully grown and can, if necessary, be fed in a separate aquarium until they reach the desired size.
- To open the Styrofoam box, simply pull on the blue ribbon. The insulated packaging does not need to be removed from the box. Allow the temperatures to equalize for around 10 minutes by placing the unopened transport container in the aquarium.
- Carefully unscrew the white lid anti-clockwise. The transport container may be full of sea water and individual snails may be stuck to the lid. If this happens, place the lid in a small bowl of sea water from the aquarium.
- Use the transfer pipette provided to remove the snails from the container and transfer them to the aquarium. Repeat the process with all snails.
- The insulated box is recyclable and can be disposed of as recyclables or used for other purposes.
- In case of a complaint, we ask for an email on the day of arrival with a photo of the snail in the transport cup for a replacement.
